Scholarship Deadline - March 1, 2018

Scholarship Information

Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) has over 500 scholarships for Oregon seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students to apply for.  You can apply for up to 20 scholarships with this one application.  Most HHS students find 4-8 scholarships to apply for but the more essays you are willing to write the more scholarships you can apply for.

Early Bird Deadline: February 15 — Complete applications (including all required documents) submitted by this date are eligible to be selected for a $1,00 Early Bird scholarship and an early review of the student’s application.
Final Deadline: March 1 — All applications and related materials must be submitted by this date.

First-time applicants: set up your Student Profile and begin using the OSAC online Scholarship App.

Returning applicants: refresh and update your App from the previous year.

Criteria: Seniors going on to some sort of post-secondary education. Juniors, you can begin filling out the OSAC now, saving and updating the information until submitting your senior year.

Oregon Promise: The OSAC is also how you apply for the Oregon Promise grant to help pay for community college.

Instructions: Go to http://www.oregonstudentaid.gov/ to begin your application. Click on the large green OSAC Scholarship Application rectangle in the middle of the screen. This application will take several hours to complete, so don’t wait until February to start this!

Request an electronic upload for your high school transcript.  You do not need to print out any additional form.  Mrs. Gattis will begin uploading by February 8 so you can submit by the early bird deadline.  If you have not requested an electronic upload (this is done by one click on your application) she will not be able to attach your transcript.  You will be able to see on your OSAC application when she has attached it.
