Community Service

Giving back to your community is an important part of being an active high school student. Scholarship committees are interested in what a student has done in high school and how they have made a difference in the community. Community service will open doors of opportunity, often leading to scholarships, letters of recommendation, or employment. Ask your counselor about volunteer activities that you can be involved in.
