Meet The Principal

Mr. Spoo received an associate degree in Agriculture Science Production from BMCC and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Idaho. After completing his undergraduate studies, he earned a Masters's in Agriculture Education from Oregon State University.  A license in administration was obtained at Lewis & Clark College.

For 28 years, Mr. Spoo has been with the Hermiston School District. In the beginning of his career, he taught Agriculture at Hermiston High School for thirteen years, then he became an assistant principal at Hermiston High School for four years, the principal at ALMS for four years, and then he became the principal at Hermiston High School for seven years.

Mr. Spoo enjoys barbecuing, hunting, and farming.
